Waiting on Wednesday: Dark Lycan

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases we're eagerly anticipating.

My choice for the week:

Dark Lycan (Carpathian, #24)
by
Christine Feehan

Held captive for centuries and finally freed, Tatijana vowed to now live only by her rules. She is Carpathian. Dragonseeker. She’ll never again acquiesce to authority — inhuman or human. Then Tatijana is drawn to the forest-scent of a stranger — and the freedom and wild nature it represents. And now everything she is fighting for — and running from — will change.

Book blurb from Goodreads.

This series was my introduction to paranormal romance. I started with book 16, Dark Demon, though I didn't know it was part of a series when I bought it. It wasn't until I got online and did some research did I find out I had read book 16 of a series. Before reading this book, I didn't even know the paranormal romance genre existed. (Outside of my own writing that is. So I'm not the only one who writes this stuff. Nice to know.) I have since read almost all of this series; book 23 is the only one I haven't yet read.

This series is my "guilty pleasure".
